Sour Apple Saison Goes Boom Empty

I had a Batch #1 Sour Apple Saison detonate in my cellar last night. If you have any I would recommend segregating them from the rest of your stuff or you'll be very said. Sad

The bottom of the bottle completely separated, leaving the bottle mostly intact.

Anyone else have this problem?

I was holding on to a bottle for a couple months, but my buddy who lives in my basement drank it when I wasn't looking. So, I currently don't have any in my cellar. Balls. I hope it didn't damage any of your stuff.

Oh hell!

I drank my last bottle a month or so ago but hadn't had any issues to that point. I do have some brainless peaches sitting down there but obviously that's fresh.

Think the critters kept working, or just a flawed bottle?

I suspect secondary fermentation, but you never know.

What I do know? That my rare "Revenge" of the Jedi Poster is ruined!

GAH! Say it isn't so. Rare is an understatement.
