So I'm strongly considering finally checking it out; but I don't know my way around Idaho Falls. I barely know that it's in Idaho.

Any of you guys have "lodging" recommendations for this thing?

Glad to hear you in, Ed!

There are many lodging options in downtown IF. The Red Lion, Best Western (Driftwood) and Le Ritz are are good options. The Red Lion is party central. If you get a room there don't plan on sleeping much Sat night. The Best Western is more quiet especially if your away from the pool. And the Ritz is very quiet. They'll all run about the same price wise.

There are many other hotel options. I recomended these because there is a free shuttle that'll take you to and from the fest there, plus they are just across the river from downtown's night life.

All right, another dumb question:

In the past, have people been allowed to bring in bags, water bottles, etc. -- i.e. the Evanston fest? Or will it be more of a Utah internment camp style festival? Just trying to plan ahead... Looked through the website, but didn't see anything:

I believe you can bring bags in. The may be searched. And I think that water is ok as long as it's sealed.
