Ok, I gotta start off saying Epic is my favorite Utah brewery and I always talk them up to my out of state friends and relatives and quite a few of the people that I've befriended at the GABF.
I finally got around to trying the Glutenator this past Friday and I got to say I didn't care much for it. I haven't tried any other gluten-free beers on the market but I've heard mixed reviews of the sorghum versions from most breweries, so this seems to be a style that's still developing. I thought it was kind of hard to describe...there was a slight sourness to it and a flavor that I couldn't quite place. It's probably just due to the fact that it's lacking traditional grains and that's what I'm used to. I guess if I had celiac disease I'd probably be willing to give it another try but safe to say I'm very thankful I don't and that I'm able to enjoy Epic's other fantastic offerings.
