Who here makes Mead?

I was just wondering who here makes mead?

I've never done a mead. Dave Mckean at the Utah Brewers Co-op is really into meads. He'd be good resource on the subject.

Thanks, maybe I'll hit him up. I love making mead, it is so easy in comparison to beer and the results turn out great. I've been picking the brain of a friend who has been making mead for about 15 years now. He even won a ribbon in the mazer cup last year.

He, Roland is his name, even started having a monthly "Mead Makers Meeting" at his place. If anyone is interested I'll send you the address and time of the next one. Last meeting we just sat around, tried mead and brewed up a batch for a new person.
