Wasatch Brewings Devastator is my new favorite Utah Beer! It has not knocked out Guinness for my all time favorite though, but I am not sure if anything will be able to pull that off Anyway I had quite a few different beers from local breweries at a football party we threw and I was very surprised by this beer it has amazing flavor and is very complex. I cannot believe it actually has a 8% ABV (originally said 9% I thought it was bigger than it was Mike was nice enough to set me straight.) as it is sooo smooth and there is no alcohol aftertaste. What do you guys think of this beer? Have you paired it with anything that has worked well?

I think Devastator is 8%. I haven't had it in a while, it could have gone up. I agree it's a great bock. Pork dishes seem to complement it well as well as Carrot Cake. If you relly want to try a winner from Wasatch get some Winterfest.

Thanks for looking out for me on the facts man. It is 8% I thought it was bigger than it was. The reply prompted a run to the Murray DABC and I got another 6 pack of Devastator and Winterfest. I have tried Winterfest a few weeks ago and I think I liked the Devastator a bit better but I am gonna give them a try again. I got a buddy from Puerto Rico that makes some amazing slow cooked pork leg so I know what I am going to take to his house next time.
