I didn't know there was a movement to bring consistent liquor laws to the nation. Anyone have an opinion on this?

That's very interesting. I have no heard about this. The ruling seems like it may apply to someone here in utah if they wish to sue. Humm...

This is a tough one because if passed they'd have to amend the U.S. Constitution. The 21st Amendment specifically gives states control over alcohol. I don't forsee it ever passing.

It would be great for we Utah beer drinkers, but other states would likely get screwed.

Well I admit I'd never read the 21st Amendment. I just did and that seems pretty clear. So Congress is going to have to (at some point) clarify this inconsistency between states not hindering interstate commerce and the 21st amendment specifically giving states the right to regulate alcohol. And I certainly don't see an amendment amending the 21st as very likely.
