| Congrats to everyone. All the beer I tasted was amazing.
This was an awesome event! A special thanks to Jamie, Mike, Mark, ZZ Hops, the Bayou and all The Beer Nut folks, not to mention all the stewards and judges that made this all possible.
Everyone go celebrate with a cold one...or a warmer one depending on the style.

| Congrats to all as well! I'm so bummed I couldn't make the gathering at the Bayou.
Maybe this happened, but we should maybe have an "unofficial" winning beer tasting next year so those of us who aren't judges can taste some of the awesomeness that people are making. I think it'd be fun and informative.
Or maybe I should just join a homebrew club...

| On that note Carlos, I tasted some of Ricky's Mole stout last night and wow. It was delicious. Much better than my own. No lip burning or anything. And what a smooth flavor. Thanks Ricky. | |

| I will be bottling the remainder of my 9-9-9 Barleywine that took Gold in Strong Ale and Bronze in Best of Show. Depending on how much is left in the keg (having Barleywine on tap is not a good thing) I would love to share some with the Utah Beer Blog crowd. I also have about 12 gallons of my Oak Aged American Stout, that took home a bronze in the Wood Aged beer Category. Let me know if we would all like to try to get a bunch of us together for a tatsting. | |

| Yeah Carlos, we noticed you weren't there, congrats on your wins! I'm with you on having some un-official winner tasting! I have one or two bottles left of the braggot that took gold, but basically none of the one that took silver. I may be able to sneak one of the four bottles of the Imp. Stout that took gold if my brew buddie lets me. I also have plenty of other shit I can bring, I think we all do. I want to steward of something just so I can taste all this awesome stuff that you judges and stewards got to.
Kent, thanks for the compliment! I haven't tasted yours yet, but Quinn cracked a bottle and, to quote "It burned sooo good." I'll break out one of yours in the next day or so. I'll have most of a full batch of that left, so I'll pass some out if anyone wants some. Even if we don't get around to is this time, maybe we should all meet some where next year after the reception and drink each others stuff?
Anyway, I had a blast at the reception this year. The advice on the judges sheets was well worth the entry fee. I can't wait to brew some new stuff.

| Okay then. I know this is short notice but how about we get together this Saturday. I was going to attend a Beer Tasting anyway, why not have you guys and your winning brews attend as well?
If your interested please respond ASAP so we have a head count. It will most likely be at the same place where we had the Holiday tasting. The Irving School House.

| I think we've got a birthday dinner at Squatters on Saturday but let me check. If I'm free I'll be there. | |

I'm definitely a yes. Also, I think we should aim for 7:30, if possible, since both Kent and my co-brewing fiancee can't make it until then.

| I'd like to come and bring a few comp beers to serve but our ZZHOPS meeting is at exactly the same time. Its short notice but I may see if the club wants to move that meeting to attend this one because it sounds like it would be very cool. | |

| I work 'til 9-9:30 pm, so unfortunately I can't make it. My work schedule is annoying, but I will tell my friend Quinn who I brew with about it and see if he can make it.

| Mike, invite anyone who'd like to come. Give me a number of bodies when you can. Ricky, Call when you get off work, you never know... Ed, you suck.... if you attend please bring at least one bottle (homebrew or bought) no matter the size. We'd rather there was too much than not enough. Cheers! | |

| Mikey and all:
I've talked to some club people who would like to attend and bring in comp beers, but we may not be able to move our meeting on such short notice. Is there any chance this could be held on Friday or Sunday night? If so, we would probably have a good number of club people attend and bring beers to taste.
I'll keep asking about moving our club meeting but it may be tough. Let me know , thanks.

| Sunday night would work better for me, some time after 7pm or so. If not, I'll give you a call (as soon as I have your number) if I can make it Saturday night.
